Noah Schnapp to play two roles in AFFLUENZA for London stage debut

Noah Schnapp has been announced for AFFLUENZA, a world-premiere play written and directed by Andy Sandberg. The limited engagement at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith will mark Schnapp’s London stage debut, and he is set to take on two different roles.

The casting was announced on 13 August 2026, after AFFLUENZA and Riverside Studios’ wider Mainstage season had already been unveiled. Schnapp’s involvement was not part of the earlier production announcement, making his addition a separate development.

Schnapp has said he will play two roles, but the reviewed production and ticketing material gives no character names or further details about the parts.

Performances are scheduled to begin at Riverside Studios on 26 September 2026 and continue until 21 November 2026. The engagement is described as a limited eight-week run.

The official ticketing page linked by Riverside Studios lists Schnapp in its cast and Stars on Stage information. It categorises the venue as Fringe/Off West End, so this engagement is a London stage debut rather than a West End debut.

Set among the ultra-wealthy in the Hamptons, AFFLUENZA follows the aftermath of a teenager’s drink-driving incident. The play examines power, privilege, moral accountability, family legacy and the American justice system.

Production materials describe AFFLUENZA as inspired by true events surrounding a legal defence. They do not identify a particular case or individual.

AFFLUENZA is the first of five plays planned for Riverside Studios’ Mainstage 2026 to 2027 season.
