New Stars Board the Ship Titanique Announces West End Cast Changes for Summer Run

The Olivier Award-winning parody musical Titanique will welcome two fresh faces next month, as producers confirm new leads for its ongoing voyage at the Criterion Theatre.

A New Céline Dion Takes the Helm

From 15 July, powerhouse vocalist Astrid Harris will slip on the sequins and step into the role of Céline Dion, the show’s irreverent narrator who recounts, and routinely up-stages, the plot of Titanic through a catalogue of the superstar’s hits. Harris replaces WhatsOnStage Award winner Lauren Drew, who originated the role in the production’s West End transfer last year.

Molly Brown Gets a New Unsinkable Spirit

Beginning 22 July, Jenny O’Leary joins the company as Molly Brown, standing in for Charlotte Wakefield during her maternity leave. O’Leary, best known for her scene-stealing turns in Heathers the Musical and We Will Rock You, will bring fresh comedic bite to the unsinkable socialite.

Current Principal Line-Up

  • Luke Bayer – Jack

  • Hiba Elchikhe – Rose

  • Richard Carson – Cal

  • Carl Mullaney – Ruth

  • Darren Bennett – Victor Garber / Luigi

  • Tosh Wanogho-Maud – The Iceberg

Ensemble vocals are provided by Adrianne Langley, Madison Swan and Rodney Vubya, with understudies Freddie King and Caitlin Tipping supporting off-stage.

Creative and Booking Details

Co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, Titanique fuses Céline Dion’s biggest anthems “My Heart Will Go On,” “All By Myself,” “To Love You More” with a tongue-in-cheek retelling of James Cameron’s blockbuster. Direction comes from Blue, with choreography by Ellenore Scott, sets by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Laubacher, and costumes by Alejo Vietti. Music supervision and orchestrations are by Nicholas James Connell.

The show continues its run at the Criterion Theatre and is currently booking until 4 January 2026. Tickets are available via the venue box office and authorised ticketing partners.

With fresh talent at the helm, Titanique looks set to keep audiences laughing, and singing along, well into the new year.
