Mary Poppins Announces Final Tour Cast for Milton Keynes, Cardiff and Liverpool Engagements

The practically perfect nanny is preparing for her last round of UK adventures. Producers of Mary Poppins have confirmed the full company for the musical’s final three tour stops, spanning Milton Keynes, Cardiff and Liverpool through early 2026.

Key Casting Updates

  • Stefanie Jones and Jack Chambers will continue to headline as Mary Poppins and Bert, roles they originated in the Australian revival before joining the current UK tour.

  • Veteran West End performer Lyn Paul joins from 18 November at Milton Keynes Theatre, staying on through the Cardiff and Liverpool runs.

  • Michael D. Xavier and Lucie-Mae Sumner remain as George and Winifred Banks, with Rosemary Ashe as housekeeper Mrs Brill.

  • Featured roles include Patti Boulaye as the Bird Woman, Sharon Wattis doubling as Mrs Corry and Miss Smythe, Wendy Ferguson as Miss Andrew, Ruairidh McDonald as Robertson Ay and David Burrows as Admiral Boom/Bank Chairman.

Young alternates for the Banks children are Olive Harrison, Connie Jones, Yvie Moore, Katie Ryden and Sienna Sibley as Jane; Oliver Benson, Charlie Donald, Oli Manning, Joshua Miles and Oliver Noble rotate as Michael.

Creative Team

Directed by Richard Eyre with co-direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne and co-choreography by Stephen Mear, the production features iconic Sherman Brothers songs plus additional numbers by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. Bob Crowley provides the Edwardian set and costume designs, while Paul Gatehouse (sound) and Hugh Vanstone (lighting) complete the signature look.
