New Ensemble of Queens Ascend the Throne in Broadway’s SIX

The Broadway sensation SIX is set to embrace a transformative period as a new cast of queens steps into the spotlight to portray the six ex-wives of King Henry VIII, starting from December 5. This changeover will see the current royal ensemble conclude their reign on December 4, passing the torch to the incoming performers.

Khaila Wilcoxon is ready to embrace the role of Catherine of Aragon, while Storm Lever will transform into Anne Boleyn. Jane Seymour will be brought to life by Jasmine Forsberg, Olivia Donalson will embody Anna of Cleves, Didi Romero will take on Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr will be portrayed by Gabriela Carrillo. Each actor is reprising their role from the North American tour of SIX, promising a seamless transition and a fresh burst of energy to the production.

Carrillo and Romero are set to make their Broadway debuts with SIX, adding a layer of excitement to the production. Their fellow cast members bring a wealth of experience from previous Broadway engagements, including Wilcoxon’s performances in Hadestown and Ruben & Clay’s First Annual Christmas Carol Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion Show, Lever’s role in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Donalson’s time as an ensemblist in Aladdin, and Forsberg’s involvement in Here Lies Love.

Joining the new ensemble on December 5, alternates Wesley Carpenter and Sierra Fermin will provide additional support, ready to step in and uphold the regal standards of the production.

SIX, crafted by the innovative minds of Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, delves into the complex and enthralling stories of King Henry VIII’s six ex-wives, transforming their historic narratives into a compelling musical experience. The production has achieved critical acclaim, securing eight Tony Award nominations in 2022, triumphing in the Best Original Score category. Under the seasoned direction of Moss and Jamie Armitage, SIX stands poised to continue its Broadway dominance, with this fresh ensemble expected to bring a new level of excitement and engagement to the acclaimed musical.
