Full Cast Announced for KINKY BOOTS Revival at London Coliseum Ahead of Spring 2026 Run

The sensational stage musical KINKY BOOTS has completed its casting for a major new production at London’s storied Coliseum Theatre, with a vibrant ensemble set to take to the West End stage from March through July 2026. The announcement confirms a full company joining the previously revealed leads, rounding out a cast that brings together established West End favourites, dynamic new voices and a powerhouse creative team behind one of the most beloved musicals of recent decades.

Based on the uplifting 2005 film of the same name, KINKY BOOTS tells the story of Charlie Price, a young man who inherits his family’s struggling shoe factory and, through an unlikely friendship with drag icon Lola, transforms the business with a dazzling range of bold, unconventional boots. Featuring a book by Harvey Fierstein and an award-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, the show blends humour, heart and high-energy choreography with themes of acceptance, resilience and community.

At the heart of this new London production is dancer and television favourite Johannes Radebe, who will reprise his role as Lola. Radebe’s interpretation of the larger-than-life cabaret star has already won widespread acclaim during the show’s UK and Ireland tour, and his return to the role for the Coliseum season is a highlight for theatre fans eager to see his distinctive talent on one of London’s biggest stages.

Opposite Radebe will be multi-talented performer Matt Cardle as Charlie Price. Cardle first became a household name after winning The X Factor, and has since forged a strong theatre career that includes standout performances in musicals such as & JULIET and MEMPHIS. His portrayal of Charlie brings both vocal strength and emotional depth to the role of the reluctant factory heir learning to embrace his own authenticity and courage.

Sharing the Lola role as Alternate Lola on Monday performances from early April is Tosh Wanogho-Maud, offering audiences another electrifying interpretation of this iconic character. It is always recommended that theatre-goers check performance schedules to confirm casting for specific dates.

Joining these leads is an accomplished supporting cast including Courtney Bowman as Lauren, a key character whose warmth and wit help anchor the story’s ensemble. Other notable cast members include Billie-Kay as Nicola, Billy Roberts as Don, Rachel Izen as Pat, Jessica Daley as Trish, and Jonathan Dryden Taylor as Mr Price. These performers bring a wealth of stage experience across West End and touring productions, from musical comedies to dramatic roles, enhancing the show’s balance of entertainment and narrative depth.

The company is rounded out by a talented ensemble that reflects both diversity and range. Performers such as Andy Barke, Kathryn Barnes, Cerys Burton, Kaya Farrugia, Nay-Nay, Keith Alexander, Nathan Daly, Kofi Dennis, Ru Fisher, Darnell Matthew-James, Liam McEvoy, Ashley-Jordon Packer, Cole Dunn, Annell Odartey, Jordan Isaac and Tori McDougall will bring the spirited world of KINKY BOOTS to life. Together they support the principal cast and help drive the show’s bold musical numbers and comedic set pieces.

In addition to the adult ensemble, a young company plays key elements of the story, with Sean Garcia Madiba, Noah Ronkainen Phillips and Rio-Blake Power portraying Young Lola and Archie John Allen, Joshua Beswick, Louis Cohen and Callum George sharing the roles of Young Charlie. These younger performers add another layer of emotional resonance to the story’s exploration of identity, ambition and growth.

The production is directed by Nikolai Foster, artistic director of Curve theatre and known for his dynamic staging of large-scale musicals. Foster’s vision for KINKY BOOTS emphasises both spectacle and storytelling, ensuring that the show’s message of inclusivity and transformation is delivered with style, energy and heart. Audiences can expect the Coliseum run to showcase vibrant choreography by Leah Hill alongside striking set and costume design that pays tribute to the show’s high-kick aesthetic and emotional beats.

KINKY BOOTS has been a standout success in both the United States and the UK since its original Broadway premiere. It won multiple Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and its score by KINKY BOOTS has become synonymous with the show’s infectious optimism and emotional depth. Over the years, productions around the world have embraced its message of self-acceptance and community, making it a favourite with audiences of all ages.

The Coliseum engagement is scheduled to run from March 17 to July 11, 2026, with a preview period beginning back at Curve in Leicester from March 3. Tickets are already on sale and expected to be in high demand given the show’s reputation and the strength of this newly revealed cast.

For theatre lovers in London and visitors planning to catch one of the West End’s most anticipated musicals of the season, this expanded cast announcement offers plenty of reasons to be excited. Kinky Boots has long been celebrated for its blend of uplifting storytelling, unforgettable music and dazzling performance moments, and this latest production looks poised to continue that legacy.
