Death of a Salesman Extends Broadway Run and Completes Casting

The forthcoming Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman has announced an eight week extension, with the limited engagement now set to run through August 9, 2026. Originally scheduled to close on June 14, the production will begin preview performances on March 6, ahead of an official opening night on April 9.

The extension news arrives alongside the confirmation of the full company. Katherine Romans joins the cast as Miss Forsythe, with Mary Neely cast as Letta. Alexis Bronkovic will serve as understudy for Letta and The Woman, Erik Kilpatrick will understudy Charley, and Brendan Donaldson will cover Uncle Ben and Stanley. Aidan Cazeau and Charlie Niccolini complete the ensemble.

They join an already announced lineup led by Tony Award winners Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf. Also appearing in the revival are Christopher Abbott, Ben Ahlers, K. Todd Freeman, Jonathan Cake, John Drea, Michael Benjamin Washington, Tasha Lawrence, Jake Silbermann, Joaquin Consuelos, Jake Termine, Karl Green and Jack Falahee.

Directed by Tony winner Joe Mantello, the revival brings together an acclaimed creative team. Scenic design is by Chloe Lamford, with costumes by Rudy Mance, lighting by Jack Knowles and sound design by Mikaal Sulaiman. Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winning composer Caroline Shaw will provide an original score for the production.

First premiered in 1949, Miller’s landmark drama remains one of the most frequently revived works in the American theatrical canon. The play centres on travelling salesman Willy Loman and his struggle with ambition, disillusionment and the elusive promise of the American Dream. The new Broadway staging seeks to reexamine the emotional core of the text with a fresh creative lens, anchored by two of the stage’s most respected performers.

With extended dates now confirmed and the company fully assembled, the revival of Death of a Salesman is poised to be one of the major theatrical events of the 2026 Broadway season.
