Casey Cott, renowned for his captivating performances, will prolong his esteemed tenure in the Broadway’s ‘Moulin Rouge!’ until 4th February 2024. Currently gracing the stage as Christian at the illustrious Al Hirschfeld Theatre, Cott has magnificently embodied the spirit of the Tony Award-winning musical. While his initial engagement was scheduled to conclude on 3rd December, the theatrical community is abuzz with the news of his extension.

‘Moulin Rouge!’ is a notable milestone in Cott’s career, marking his dynamic debut on Broadway. Audiences may recognise him from his standout role as Kevin Keller in the acclaimed television series ‘Riverdale’. Moreover, in 2019, he brilliantly headlined the cast of ‘The Who’s Tommy’ at the prestigious Kennedy Centre.

Whilst anticipation mounts regarding the announcement of Cott’s successor in ‘Moulin Rouge!’, the production continues to enthrall with a stellar ensemble. The current line-up boasts talents like Courtney Reed as Satine, Tituss Burgess embodying Harold Zidler, André Ward as Toulouse-Lautrec, David Harris portraying the Duke of Monroth, Gabe Martínez as Santiago, and Sophie Carmen-Jones as Nini. The versatile Oyoyo Joi serves as the alternate for Satine. The impeccable casting choices are credited to the discerning eyes of Jim Carnahan and Stephen Kopel.
