The available evidence points to one reported performance cancellation, not the end of the complete tour. At the time of research, the official production website continued to advertise Sunderland Empire within a wider itinerary that moved next to Stoke-on-Trent and extended through further UK engagements into May 2027. The site displayed no notice announcing cancellation of the full itinerary.

It features songs by Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, with additional songs by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley. Aguilera is not an announced member of the touring cast.

WhatsOnStage’s announced touring cast list names Faye Brookes as Tess Richarde and Gracie O’Brien as Ali Rose, alongside Ryan Carter, Davide Fienauri, Tyler Davis and Vanessa Ela Young. The reports do not identify any performer as one of the cast members said to be ill, so there is no basis to link the cancellation to any named principal.

The Sunderland report postdates that article and is the discrete new development. For now, the published itinerary retains Sunderland performances through 22 August, followed by Stoke-on-Trent from 25 to 29 August. It remains unclear whether the remaining Sunderland shows are proceeding, whether other performances were affected or what refund, credit or exchange arrangements apply to ticket holders.
