2:22 A Ghost Story Announces 2026 UK Tour Cast
Hit supernatural thriller 2:22 A Ghost Story has unveiled its full cast for the 2026 UK tour, as the show prepares to continue its eerily successful run around the country.
James Bye will join the production as Sam, with Natalie Casey taking on the role of Lauren. Gary Lucy will play Ben, and Shvorne Marks, who is currently touring as Lauren, will return in a new part as Jenny when the show hits the road again next year.
The new tour, written by Danny Robins and directed by Matthew Dunster and Gabriel Vega Weissman, will open at Northampton’s Royal and Derngate on 8 January 2026 and run through to June. The show will visit a mix of familiar venues from its 2023, 2024 and 2025 tours, alongside new stops on the schedule.
2:22 A Ghost Story has become a major contemporary theatre success, running for three years in the West End across seven seasons since its 2021 premiere at the Noël Coward Theatre. It has since played at the Gielgud, Criterion, Lyric and Apollo, and has been staged in replica productions internationally, reaching more than a million audience members.
The play follows Jenny, who is convinced that the home she shares with her husband Sam is haunted. Sam is firmly sceptical. When the couple invite their friends Lauren and Ben over for dinner, tensions rise as belief and doubt clash against a backdrop of unsettling events that build towards the ominous time of 2:22 each night.
The 2026 tour will feature design work by set designer Anna Fleischle, costume designer Cindy Lin, lighting designer Lucy Carter, and sound designer Ian Dickinson for Autograph Sound, with illusions created by Chris Fisher. The production is produced by Tristan Baker and Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment, Isobel David and Kater Gordon, with casting by Matilda James and Annelie Powell.
