Win an opportunity to audit the Advanced Audition Technique for Musical Theatre workshop with Queenie van de Zandt, worth $485

AussieTheatre is giving away the opportunity to audit the Advanced Audition Technique for Musical Theatre workshop with Queenie van de Zandt in Melbourne, worth $485.

Having studied audition technique for over 20 years, Queenie has developed a unique audition practice, that has helped her former students gain lead roles in shows such as The Sound of Music, Matilda, Singing in the Rain, and We Will Rock You. It is this success that has recently seen her hailed in the press as a ‘musical theatre star-maker’.

What makes The Advanced Course so unique, is that performers not only get to learn Queenie’s audition practice, they also get to work with, and be seen by, Australia’s leading musical theatre directors, choreographers and musical directors.

Auditing is a common practice in performing arts studios in the USA. It’s a process of attending a class informally, but actively learning through observation.

When you audit The Advanced Course, you will be exposed to the work of some of Australia’s best musical theatre artists, directors, choreographers and musical directors. You will watch them work with talented and experienced performers as they reach a level of excellence.

Through auditing you learn and deepen your understanding about musical theatre performance and audition technique and can then apply that knowledge to your own practice.

Set in Melbourne the one-day workshops will be held over a number of single days in August and September.

Dates:

AUGUST: Sat 20, Sun 21, Sat 27, Sun 28 & SEPTEMBER: Sat 3, Sat 10, Sun 11, Sat 17, Sun 18

For more information visit: Amta.net.au

Competition closes 30 July, 2016 at 6pm AEST. Winners will be contacted via email/phone.
