Jay James-Moody in Herringbone 2019
AussieTheatre is giving away two double passes to see Jay James-Moody in Herringbone, at Kings Cross Theatre (Sydney) this Sunday 20 January at 5pm.
Produced in association with KXT and Bakehouse Theatre Company, Herringbone marks the much anticipated return of leading independent theatre company Squabbalogic from a nearly two year hiatus.
Following his appearance in the original Australian company of The Book of Mormon and a scene-stealing turn in Hayes Theatre Co’s She Loves Me, award-winning actor director Jay James-Moody (The Drowsy Chaperone) assumes the title role of Herringbone, and the ten other characters that live inside of him: his father, his mother, his grandmother, the lawyer, the tailor, the manservant, the mentor, the tormentor, and the woman in love with the man inside the boy.
Herringbone is co-directed by Jay James-Moody and one of Australia’s leading choreographers, Green Room award winner Michael Ralph (Nine The Musical, Dusty, The Boy From Oz), and musically directed by international band leader Benjamin Kiehne (The Original Grease, The Ten Tenors).
Competition closes Friday 18 January at 6pm AEDT. Winners will be contacted via email.
