Win a double pass to Bell Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Sydney Opera House

AussieTheatre has two double passes to giveaway to Bell Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Sydney Opera House on 19 August.

Prospero, a duke in exile, rules an island bound by nameless seas and violent storms.

Seething a desire to exact vengeance on his usurper brother, Antonio, Prospero finds himself stranded with that same brother, conflicted by a choice of forgiveness or retribution.

From such furious beginnings erupts Shakespeare’s magical journey, The Tempest, a delightful tale of cavorting spirits, love and loss, reconciliation and mercy.

John Bell celebrates Bell Shakespeare’s 25th anniversary, and his final production with the company, by undertaking this enchanting tale. A superb cast, led by Brian Lipson, will capture the lightness and beauty of one of Shakespeare’s last and greatest works.
