AussieTheatre has two double passes to giveaway to Venus in Fur at the Eternity Playhouse on Friday 29 May, 8pm.

Having seduced audiences on Broadway, David Ives’ hilarious, sexy and provocative smash hit Venus in Fur makes its Sydney debut. Darlinghurst Theatre Company presents the highly anticipated Sydney premiere on 2 June at the Eternity Playhouse.

Thomas is a director struggling to cast the female lead in his new play based on the classic sadomasochistic novel Venus in Furs. As Thomas is about to leave the audition room, in bursts a fiery actress who displays an uncanny command of the material.r and auditionee enter into an As the audition increasingly high-stakes game of submission and domination.

Part comedy, part thriller, Venus in Fur is a gripping exploration of sexual control and desire. This wicked psychological study will have audiences talking long after the curtain falls.

Matt is a past owner of AussieTheatre, working as digital director from 2011 to 2019. He is also a performer, most recently appeared in the Australian tour of Mamma Mia! and previously in the Australian/NZ tour of CATS and Enda Markey's acclaimed production of Blood Brothers.
