I love my garden. Even on tour, wherever I go, I always manage to collect some type of plant.
Backstage is quite possibly the funniest place on the earth.
A play called When the Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell (suggested by Jason Langley).
I like to cobble together the best attributes of all of my closest friends and family.
Kindness.
Judgement based on personal opinion.
A clean space and a clear mind, (both of which can sometimes be hard to come by).
Curled up on the couch, with a cup of tea and a good book.
Mothers and Sons is on at the Ensemble Theatre in Sydney, and apart from having a brilliant cast, the play is simply beautiful. Go see it! (And If you can’t see it, read it. It made me cry right off the page).
It’s a tie between ‘Mothers and Sons’, ‘Matilda the musical’ and the film, PRIDE. I know something is great when I can’t stop thinking about it the next day.
Mental health in our industry. I feel it’s something that we all deal with by ourselves and don’t talk enough about. ‘Out from Under’ is doing a great job of raising awareness at the moment.
Face wash, mind-maps and tea.
It usually depends on the next audition. This week’s one was ‘Iris’, by the Goo Goo Dolls.
I would love there to be more clarity with payment regarding call backs. It seems to be one of the murky areas in the PCA agreement (I suspect this one will be argued over till the end of time!)
The ABC News App. It’s the first thing I check every morning.
To be BRAVE! And that everyone is just making it up as well, so relax.
My fiancé. 🙂
I’m a nomad, but at this very moment, it’s Sydney. That’s where my family is.
