With a cast including Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Alinta Chidzey, Casey Donovan, Tom Burlinson and a host of Australia’s finest in support and ensemble roles, this show stacks up to be an impressing one. The attending media were treated to four numbers from the show, one by each for the main stars. With a simple band stand set and the famous all black aesthetic, the production is looking as slick and sexy as always.
Chicago will run here in Sydney, before transferring to Brisbane and then, in December, to Melbourne where Jason Donovan will join the cast as Billy Flynn. Donovans performance in Chicago will mark his first appearance in a musical in his home town.
