A huge thankyou from the bottom of my heart

2011 has flown by in a flash and I cannot believe I am writing the ‘end of year’ spiel!

I can scarcely believe it has been 9 months since Matt Edwards and I began the process of becoming Directors of this site, and 6 months since I began working as AussieTheatre.com’s second ever Editor.

Taking over from Troy Dodds (founder of AussieTheatre.com and Managing Editor since 2003) has been an experience and opportunity for which I am very grateful. My learning curve in the last 6 months has been steep, and I feel AussieTheatre has grown in many ways.

The lessons I have learned this year have been invaluable, the people who have helped me have been wonderful and the readers who keep coming back to AussieTheatre.com to peruse our articles – well, you keep us going. So thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We are in for some big changes in 2012, the first of which is a brand new website. We are moving away from the GREEN which has been associated with AussieTheatre for many years, creating some new sections, and enabling a much more user-friendly search bar. In fact, the whole site will have a different feel, but you will see it soon enough.

Right now, I would like to thank the many people who have made the transition this year so smooth, and who have continued to support me (and all my madness) in this wonderful project, which I hope will continue to grow and flourish for many years to come.
