MICF: Anthony Morgan – (Youth Reference)

Like Schrödinger’s cat, (YOUTH REFERENCE) is a thought experiment. A paradox, if you will. It contradicts itself, yet it might be true. It’s Schrödinger’s show.

(Youth Reference) 2016

Anthony Morgan ranges around the stage and up and down the centre aisle, bitterly and mischievously taking swipes at young comedians, the Doug Anthony All Stars and, especially, himself. Sometimes it seems as though he’s lost his place, but it honestly doesn’t matter.

Whatever the fuck this show is, it’s brilliant. Morgan is inspired. While he may have once been beyond the edge and in the flat, featureless wilderness with other ‘lost’ men, he’s back now and still making his audience laugh. Let’s all thank the comedy gods for that.
