DESCRIPTION:Broadway Talent Joins Sydney Production of Once Upon a One More Time \nSydney audiences are set for a rare theatrical treat\, with Broadway performers joining the cast of Once Upon a One More Time in an exciting new local production. \nPresented by ACTiv Elite Theatre Co\, the musical features Lexi Toye (Hamilton\, Dance Captain for Hamilton touring company) and Teddy Toye (The Prom\, Mean Girls\, Bring it On) performing alongside a cast of emerging Australian performers\, including Mikayla Burnham as Cinderella\, Nicholas Reese as Prince Charming\, Matt Dorahy as the Narrator and Izzy Hanly as one of the Stepsisters. \nBlending the high production values of professional theatre with the heart of an independent company\, the production marks a bold step forward for independent musical theatre in Sydney. ACTiv Elite Theatre Co has produced SpongeBob the Musical\, Songs for a New World\, Legally Blonde and Annie. Giving it’s performing arts school (ACTiv Elite Performers) a real live training ground for its students to perform in musicals alongside pre-professional and professional artists. This formula has caused an enormous surge in students’ performance ability and confidence. \nPaul Escorrido (Once on this Island\, A Beautiful Noise) who played Patrick Star in their 2025 of SpongeBob\, said\, “I would have LOVED to have a place like ACTiv growing up\, and I’m so glad that every kid I met doing this show (who reminds me so much of myself) has this incredibly inclusive and safe environment where their passions and differences are celebrated.” \nOnce Upon a One More Time reimagines classic fairytale heroines as they challenge the roles they’ve been given\, set to the iconic music of Britney Spears.
