WICKED have announced the return of the ‘Lottery’ system which will see a limited number of $35 seats available for every performance!
Thrillifying news, Ozians! Wicked is now back in full swing at its home in Melbourne – the glorious Regent Theatre – and the public can’t seem to get enough of this spellbinding and critically acclaimed musical. Wicked Australia’s Co-Producer, JC Williamson Award Winner John Frost, has today confirmed that the WICKED LOTTERY will return, commencing from the evening performance on Saturday 31 May.
Great for overseas visitors, interstate tourists, students, young people and fans of the show, the Lottery is an excellent way to see great theatre on a budget.
2.5 hours before the commencement of each show, names will be collected at the Regent Theatre Box Office for entry into the Lottery.
2 hours prior to the commencement of the performance, the Lottery will be drawn. To be eligible for the $35 seats, winners must be present (with a valid photo ID) when their names are called or they forfeit their tickets.
Limit of two tickets per winner, cash only. Tickets must not be on sold to a third party.
Melbournians will be spoilt for choice this winter with four major musicals playing at the four major theatres (Les Miserables, Wicked, The King and I and Rocky Horror). Perhaps other productions will follow suit with the lottery system to give audiences an added incentive to visit the theatre? Would you like to see a lottery system introduced for the Melbourne Winter Season?
