VIDEO – The Lion King – first week of rehearsals

AussieTheatre went inside the rehearsal room of the new Australian production of The Lion King to see how things are coming along.

Check out the cast singing together for the first time during the first week of rehearsals. We also heard from some of the principal cast, including Nick Afoa, who plays Simba, Rob Collins, who plays Mufasa, and Buyi Zama who returns to the role of Rafiki after she played the role in the original Australian production.

The Lion King opens at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on December 12. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com.au/thelionking
