Tributes continue to flow in for theatre star Victoria Longley, who has died at the age of 49.
She tragically lost her battle with breast cancer earlier this week.
Longley was last seen on stage just a year ago, when she played Goneril in the State Theatre Company of South Australia’s production of King Lear.
She won much praise for her work in the 2008 Sydney Theatre Company production of The Vertical Hour and the State Theatre Company of South Australia’s The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?
Actors, and others involved in the theatre industry, have flooded social networking websites and mainstream media with tributes for Longley, who lived in Katoomba and was regarded as a true professional and one of Australia’s finest leading ladies of straight theatre.
