Stellar Cast Announced for The Mousetrap
Agatha Christie’s iconic murder mystery play The Mousetrap will be brought to life for the first time in Australia by a stellar cast, announced today by Producers, Michael Coppel, Louise Withers and Linda Bewick.
Celebrating the Diamond Anniversary of The Mousetrap, the Australian tour is one of 60 productions to open in 2012, with tours scheduled for Russia and China, Turkey, Holland and even Venezuela.

The Mousetrap is the longest running show in the world, having originally opened on London’s West End in November 1952 it has since played over 24,000 performances.
The Australian Diamond Anniversary Tour of The Mousetrap will open at The Sydney Theatre at Walsh Bay on June 30 and will go on to play at Perth’s His Majesty’s Theatre from August 14 and Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre from August 30.
Tickets for all announced cities go on sale to the general public at 9.00am on Monday March 26.

I saw this in the 50’s in London when I was 10. Still vivid in my memory. It will be fantastic to see it in Melbourne.
Where are the Brisbane dates. It would be a full house every night.
