Smorgasbord of Opera at the Sydney Opera House

Join some of Opera Australia’s finest singers for the return of the popular Great Opera Hits concert series at the Sydney Opera House this summer.

The concert features a selection of much-loved opera tunes that audiences will no doubt recognise – from well-known pasta advertisements to popular films Up and Pretty Woman.

Hosted by Guy Noble, one of Australia’s most renowned conductors, Great Opera Hits promises audiences will be moved by the emotional impact of these stunning works by the world’s best composers in this fun and entertaining concert.

This 90-minute concert is the perfect opportunity for those new to opera to sample its expansive repertoire, and ideal for opera lovers to sit back and bask in their most beloved arias.

Each performance features four of the all-star rotating cast of OA principal artists, including Petah Cavallaro, Genevieve Dickson, Rebecca Gulinello, Celeste Haworth, Simon Kim, Imogen-Faith Malfitano, Haotian Qi, Sophie Salvesani, Esther Song, Thomas Strong, Danita Weatherstone, and Andrew Williams.
