Rock Of Ages: Early closing date announced for Brisbane

Despite critical acclaim and nightly standing ovations, the Broadway Musical Rock of Ages will finish its season in Brisbane on Sunday 4 December, two weeks ahead of schedule.

Despite critical acclaim and nightly standing ovations, the Broadway Musical Rock of Ages will finish its season in Brisbane on Sunday 4 December, two weeks ahead of schedule.  Originally set to play until 18 December in Brisbane, this announcement is another hard blow for the cast and crew, following the 2012 Sydney season being indefinitely ‘postponed’ last month.  From tomorrow, Saturday 26 November, all remaining seats will be made available for $79.00 and Rock of Ages will continue to rock the house at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC until 4th December. The show enjoyed a successful 7 month season at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre, and stars Amy Lehpamer, Michael Falzon, Justin Burford, Francine Cain, Emma Clark, Brendan Coustley, Rachel Dunham, Alexander Ellis, Samantha Hagen, Lincoln Hall, Anthony Harkin, Melanie Hawkins, Brent Hill, Shaye Hopkins, John O’Hara, Jensen Overend, Thern Reynolds, Ellen Sutton, and David Whitney.  Tickets from qpac.com.au or 136 246. Related Articles Rock of Ages Sydney Season Postponed
