Tonight’s performance of My Fair Lady has been cancelled due to the closure of the Centre. The statement below appears on QPAC’s website:

Given the current weather warnings for south east Queensland, the performance of My Fair Lady at 7.30pm, Thursday 30 March 2017 will not be proceeding.

Existing ticket holders for this performance will be contacted by qtix directly between tomorrow and Monday to discuss alternative arrangements.

Given this weather event the qtix Box Office will be closing from 12 noon Thursday 30 March 2017 and at this stage re-open at 9am Friday 31 March 2017.

For critical communications with qtix prior to 9am tomorrow please email info@qtix.com.au.

At this point in time all performances are set to proceed at QPAC on Friday 31 March, Saturday 1 April and Sunday 2 April 2017.

Updates to this information will be posted as they become available.

The safety of staff and patrons are of utmost importance and the cancellation of performances at QPAC during inclement weather is not unprecedented with performances of WICKED cancelled just over 6 years ago, during the floods of 2011.

We recommend you keep updated via www.bom.gov.au and www.qld.gov.au in relation to managing your own personal safety in this weather event.
