The producers of Mary Poppins, the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious musical, announced yesterday they will bring the show to Perth.

After breaking records world wide and seasons in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane the musical will open at Burswood Theatre on March 31. The head of Disney Theatrical Productions Australia, Thomas Schumacher, said “We’ve had so much success in Australia, but until you’ve gotten to Perth you haven’t played the country yet. So we are on our way”  (Today Tonight – Perth).

“Lee has the perfect personality and is a fantastic dancer” said Schumacher. The blockbuster musical will transfer to Perth after the Brisbane season, which is set to begin performances on December 27.
