One last chance for Melbourne to roar as &Juliet must leave 29 July

The award-winning anthemic pop musical, & JULIET, which has captivated Melbourne audiences since it opened at the Regent Theatre earlier this year, must leave Melbourne on 29 July.

With only limited seats left, this is your last chance to see the show in Melbourne.

Only three weeks remain to see the award-winning show, written by Emmy® Award-winning Schitt’s Creek writer David West Read with music from legendary five-time GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Max Martin, the genius behind more #1 hits than any other artist this century.

& JULIET sees Shakespeare’s most famous love story remixed with some of the most iconic pop songs of the last three decades in an uplifting story of self-discovery, empowerment and love and begs the question is there life after Romeo?

Led by Lorinda May Merrypor in the title role alongside Australian music industry legend Rob Mills, music theatre icon Amy Lehpamer, star of the stage and ARIA #1 winner Casey Donovan, Broadway, West End and Australian music theatre star Hayden Tee and newcomers Blake Appelqvist, Jesse Dutlow and Yashith Fernando the & JULIET cast have had audiences on their feet with joy and awe with Juliet’s new story brought to life through an addictive playlist of pop anthems including Baby One More Time, Roar, Since You’ve Been Gone, Larger Than Life, That’s The Way It Is and Can’t Stop The Feeling.

& JULIET first premiered on the West End in 2019 at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London, where it was nominated for nine and went on to win three Olivier Awards, as well as six Whats On Stage Awards, the most of any production that year. The show opened on Broadway in November 2022 to rave reviews.

& JULIET is playing exclusively at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre until July 29 when it must leave Australia for an engagement in Singapore.
