Throughout lockdown, the magnificent final-year cast and hardworking crew have remained busy with online planning and rehearsals, exploring new ways to bring this exciting ensemble circus work to life when they are able to return to NICA and the stage.
With the current restrictions impacting their ability to physically rehearse together, NICA has made the difficult decision to cancel the public season of Cirkus 2021: Plan 47(b)?, scheduled for 16 – 19 June. Refunds have been issued to ticket holders for all cancelled sessions.
Plan 47 (b)? has been created by the students, co-directors Mike Finch and Stephen Burton, Screen and Media (Animation) students at Swinburne University of Technology and a talented team of creatives, riggers and production staff. Together they will continue to explore ways to share elements of the work with audiences, with the safety of our staff, students and community in mind.
