Talented local singers and dancers are being given a unique paid opportunity to perform in a new musical that will be presented in June.
The musical is the first big gig by Personal Touch Promotional Products and Events, a new business based in Cranebook.
At the head of the company are Leanne Caton and Anthony Stirling-Edgar, both talented performers themselves with a wealth of background in theatre performance and directing.
The musical, entitled ‘Superstars and Musicals’, is being directed by Elizabeth Finlayson, who is known for her work with the Henry Lawson Theatre, and Steve Caton, who has many years experience in the performance industry including working the audio and lighting in several major shows.
“The musical is all about superstar singers and songwriters and superstar songs written for musicals. It moves between the great Broadway musicals and Hollywood films,” Steve said.
Personal Touch is looking for male and female singers and dancers between the ages of 18 to 50.
