Missed her in Sydney? You can catch Cabaret Whore in Melbourne

Sarah-Louise Young in Cabaret Whore

Direct from the UK, shining cabaret star Sarah-Louise Young has just brought her character comedy to Sydney – and now she’s on her way to Melbourne.

A brilliant comedy packed with original songs that sparkle, Cabaret Whore introduces desperate divas from around the globe from tortured French chanteuse La Poule Plombée to washed-up lounge crooner Bernie St Claire.

These are all the fantastic creations of Sarah-Louise Young, winner of Spirit of the Fringe and Three Weeks Editors Awards. Sarah-Louise has played sell-out runs at Edinburgh Fringe, Soho Theatre, Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Café de Paris and the Pigalle Club.

Luckiest Productions, who are behind this strictly limited season, are one of the most respected producers of cabaret in Australia.  In addition to curating three phenomenally successful Adelaide Cabaret Festivals (2009 – 11), they have produced several national tours for David Campbell, acclaimed Australian work like “Britney Spears: The Cabaret”, and international tours for artists such as Simply Barbra and Mad Men’s Bryan Batt.

Seabright Productions Ltd was established in 2009 to consolidate the success that James Seabright has operated his theatrical production and general management business under since 2001.  James Seabright has produced and/or general managed over 100 shows since 2001, with an emphasis on touring shows around the UK and internationally, as well as productions in various venues both on and off West End in London.

Cabaret Whore will be at Chapel off Chapel, 12 Little Chapel Street, Prahran from Friday 22nd June through to Sunday 24th June at 9.00pm

Bookings (03) 8290-7000 or www.chapeloffchapel.com.au
