Maggie McKenna joins American tour of Dear Evan Hansen

Our Muriel is becoming a Murphy.

Australian actress Maggie McKenna, who shot to fame last year as Muriel Heslop in the world premiere production of Muriel’s Wedding, has been confirmed to join the American National Tour of Dear Evan Hansen in the role of Zoe Murphy.

The announcement was confirmed on Dear Evan Hansen’s official instagram account earlier this morning.

Muriel’s Wedding is scheduled for a return Australian season in 2019, but no cast have been confirmed.
