Metro Arts Independents & Danger Ensemble present Loco Maricon Amor
Play five of five; the count-down is complete with the last Metro Arts Independent production about to hit the Sue Benner Theatre.
Loco Maricon Amor, co-presented by the Danger Ensemble, reflects a world that rotates on a razor-point of art, passion and revolution; a world in which Federico Garcia and a young Salvador Dali meet. The Danger Ensemble promise us an “achingly beautiful work that fuses dance, image and song cycle and drips technicolour” as they pay tribute to arts greatest outsiders. Loco Maricon Amor is a surrealist wake to mourn a freedom that was never possessed.
The season starts on Friday August 17 and runs until September 1 at the Sue Benner Theatre at Metro Arts. AussieTheatre will be eagerly attending the final Independent for 2012 – have they saved the best for last?
