The producers of Jersey Boys, the smash hit musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, have announced ‘Last Weeks’ in Sydney.
Sydney audiences have been flocking to see Jersey Boys since September last year, and the show recently celebrated its 2nd birthday in Australia. With the announcement of the show’s closure in Sydney comes the news that New Zealand will be next on the tour list. Having enjoyed over 2 solid years on the Australian stage, the show has been seen by over 1 Million people in Melbourne and Sydney. Jersey Boys will continue to play at Sydney’s Theatre Royal for a limited time, after breaking box office records as the highest grossing show in the Theatre Royal’s history. Tickets are still on sale through ticketmaster until September 21, although the Jersey Boys gift vouchers remain available on the Ticketmaster website until October 2. Jersey Boys will open in New Zealand in April 2012 at The Civic, Auckland. www.jerseyboysaustralia.com.au
