Australian Open organisers have announced that the company of Jersey Boys will make a special on-court appearance at the Men’s Final of the Australian Open on Sunday, January 31.
The Company will perform a medley from the hit show, followed by the National Anthem, for the live audience in Rod Laver Arena and a national and international television audience of millions.
At the announcement at Melbourne Park, 18-year-old Olivia Rogowska was happy to ham it up with members of the cast who looked just as comfortable on a tennis court as they do on stage.
Jersey Boys is currently playing at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre. Tickets for Jersey Boys and Australian Open 2010 can be purchased online at www.ticketek.com.au or by telephone on 132 849.
