Jemma Rix and Alex Rathgeber join the cast of GHOST
We have a Molly!
Australian musical theatre fans have been waiting for over a month to put the pieces of the Ghost puzzle together and the Daily Telegraph has finally revealed that Wicked star Jemma Rix will play the coveted role of Molly, opposite previously announced Rob Mills in the smash hit musical.
Molly and Sam, the leading roles in the musical, were made famous by Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in the 1990 film in a love story that knows no bounds.
Also joining the cast is Helpmann Award actor Alex Rathgeber in the role of Carl. Currently enjoying his final weeks as romantic lead Billy in Anything Goes, Rathgeber will be trading his leading-man charm for a much more villainous streak.
Ghost The Musical, presented by Ambassador Theatre Group, GWB and Red Live, will debut in Adelaide on January 8 2016, before touring to Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
Further casting announcements soon.
