Hollywood’s Ultimate Rom-Com PRETTY WOMAN To Make Australian Stage Debut In Brisbane

Broadway and West End smash hit musical PRETTY WOMAN: The Musical, based on the much-loved iconic film starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, will make its Australian debut at QPAC in Brisbane in October 2025.

Singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, who wrote the music and lyrics for PRETTY WOMAN: The Musical, alongside Jim Vallance, will be at QPAC in Brisbane today to make the official announcement.

“I’m thrilled Pretty Woman is finally in Australia, I went to see it last year and it blew me away!” said Bryan Adams.

The musical broke box office records at the Nederlander Theatre when making its Broadway debut in 2018 and has also wowed audiences in Spain, Italy, Poland and Germany as well as an extended West End season. Local casting announcements will be made in the coming months.

“I first saw this on the West End in London and just loved it and knew immediately that I needed to bring it to Australia. I’m so excited to premiere this production in Brisbane,” said producer Suzanne Jones.
