Frost and Terracini recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours
It was announced today that leading Australian theatre producer John Frost and Opera Australia’s Artistic Director Lyndon Terracini have been awarded an AM (Member in the General Division) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

The pair are currently co-producing The King and I (starring darling of the stage Lisa McCune and international star Jason Scott Lee) which opens at the Princess Theatre, Melbourne this Thursday and also collaborated on the acclaimed production of South Pacific which toured nationally.
Previously awarded an OAM in 1999, Frost has this year been upgraded to an AM for “significant service in the performing arts, and as a supporter of industry personnel.”
Lyndon Terracini was awarded the AM for “significant service in the performing arts as an opera performer, director and administrator.”
Other Australian artists recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours include soprano Deborah Cheetham and Judith Durham (The Seekers), Rosemary Barr (Actress), Tessa Bremner-MacDonald (Co-Founder of Co-Opera).
