The production had a glitzy opening night on Thursday, with a packed audience enjoying the show before heading to an exclusive after-party inside the Capitol.
After seasons in Brisbane and Melbourne, Fame now settles in for a limited Sydney run before completing its Australian run.
The show featured many highlights, with the biggest applause saved for Josie Lane, who brought the house down as Mabel.
