EQ Endeavours announces the MTI Australasia Graduate’s Guide Scholarship

EQ Endeavours Co-Founders Matthew Lee Robinson and Scott Morris are delighted to announce the MTI Australasia Graduate’s Guide Scholarship, sponsored by Music Theatre International Australasia, one of the world’s leading theatrical licensing agencies.

The scholarship recipient will receive a fully paid position in the Graduate’s Guide program commencing on January 15th, 2022. Graduate’s Guide is a national online bridging course for Australian musical theatre graduates of Bachelor and Diploma programs looking to build out their industry framework, mindset, presentation and supporters. As part of the program, the scholarship recipient will receive a guided framework of the industry, learn how to formulate a support network, develop structure outside of institutional learning, create their personal elevator pitch, shape their biography, dissect the anatomy of an effective email and how to elicit a response, canvass options for creation of their own work, participate in live interview Q&As with leading industry professionals, and develop anxiety-processing techniques.

MTI Australasia Managing Director, Stuart Hendricks, says:

MTIA has been an avid supporter of EQ Co-Founders Matthew Lee Robinson and Scott Morris for some time. We know the first few years out of full-time performing arts study require such specific personal attributes, so we’re thrilled EQ Endeavours has created the Graduate’s Guide program to bridge that knowledge gap.

Though various factors will be taken into consideration, the scholarship is primarily a financial need-based award, and applications will be assessed by Stuart Hendricks, alongside Matthew Lee Robinson and Scott Morris.

EQ Endeavours is committed to diversity and encourages applicants of all ethnicities, gender identities, as well as applicants with disabilities, to submit.

Scholarship Timeline

Applications open December 27th, 2021.

Applications close midnight, January 6th, 2022.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome January 9th, 2022.

Graduate’s Guide takes place 15th and 16th January, 2022, followed by a consolidation session 13th February, 2022.
