Draxl returns for more Sydney shows

Tim Draxl

Musical theatre and cabaret star Tim Draxl will return to Sydney early next year for a series of new shows at the Civic Cabaret Room.

Draxl played in Sydney earlier this year, selling out his Sydney season, and will revise his show for eight performances at the Civic in January.

Live At The Civic will be a mix of new material and some of the most popular songs from his last season.

The other very exciting news is that this new season will be accompanied by the release of a brand new CD Tim Draxl Live at the Supper Club recorded during his season in August. This will be his first ever live recording and the first CD release for Tim in nine years. The album features 16 of his most loved performances from his last season.

In the last five years Draxl has been in Los Angeles making movies and ironically this season coincides with the release of his new film In Your Sleep.

Michael Tyack will musically direct the show, whilst David Ellis will be on bass.

Tim Draxl is at the Civic from Wednesday, January 13 until Saturday, January 23. For details, phone 1300 GET TIX or logon towww.moshtix.com.au.
