Do you hear the people tweet? The characters live tweet Les Miserables

We received an unprecedented view in to the lives of the French Revolutionaries yesterday when the management of Les Miserables Australia allowed the characters themselves to take to twitter during the show.

The big guns were there, fighting for space at the keyboard, including Valjean, Javert and Eponine. However it was also nice to hear from the little people including the Crone and the owner of the ABC Cafe. The littlest person (Gavroche), was noticeably absent. Unfortunately Twitter’s Terms of Service restrict the usage of the social network to people over the age of 13.

AussieTheatre would like to congratulate Jean Valjean on his new personal best of lifting ‘1 cart’. We are also wondering here whether Javert made a slip in mentioning “Les Mis II – This time it’s biblical“. We can only assume that Cameron Mackintosh would have preferred a larger event to showcase this announcement.

Enjoy.
