Clays Roberts to Make U.S. Debut as Jack Kelly in Theatre by the Sea’s Newsies

As covered in Playbill.com today, Clay Roberts will make his U.S. debut as Jack Kelly in Theatre by the Sea’s Newsies opening later this month.

While Clay maybe New Zealand born, he has spent a great deal of his career in Australia. Originally a WAAPA graduate Clay has appeared in many Australian based productions including CATS, Matilda the Musical and the most recent Australian tour of Mamma Mia!

The production is currently in rehearsal in Rhode Island and AussieTheatre managed to have a quick chat, “We just finished blocking the show and this company and cast are insane, we are all very excited and are having a blast getting this amazing show up and running.” said Roberts.
