Broadway Unplugged returns to The Vanguard Tomorrow night.

After a brief sojourn at Slide, Broadway Unplugged is returning to The Vanguard, Newtown Tomorrow night. Back where it all began. The evening will be hosted by Fiona Sullivan with musical direction by Bev Kennedy and will feature Johanna Allen (Wicked, Dr Zhivago) and Andrew Bukenya.

Tomorrow night’s Broadway Unplugged will also be the first to feature the Project X winners from the first two heats as voted by you here on AussieTheatre.com.

The winners, Helena Wehbe and Paul Smith, will be doing their own featured sets in the program before we meet the next round of Project X contenders.

If you are interested in performing at Broadway Unplugged, it is not too late to register. Simply head to the registration form and fill out your details.

Broadway Unplugged itself has been taking Australia by storm. The event, produced by George Youakim, now has shows in both Sydney and Brisbane with a Melbourne event to be launched very soon.

Matt Edwards

Matt is a past owner of AussieTheatre, working as digital director from 2011 to 2019. He is also a performer, most recently appeared in the Australian tour of Mamma Mia! and previously in the Australian/NZ tour of CATS and Enda Markey's acclaimed production of Blood Brothers. As well as performing Matt keeps himself busy in the digital side of the arts working with web design agency Emptyhead Digital
