Anthony Warlow
Australia’s favourite leading man, Anthony Warlow, will be returning to the Broadway stage next month for a stint as Captain Hook in the critically acclaimed Finding Neverland, according to Playbill.com.
Warlow, who made his Broadway debut as Daddy Warbucks in the 2012 revival of Annie, will be replacing American actor Kelsey Grammer (best known for his role of Frasier in the hit TV series of the same name) in Finding Neverland at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
Billed as “The fascinating story of how Peter became Pan”, Finding Neverland also stars Matthew Morrison (Glee, South Pacific, The Light in the Piazza) and Laura Michelle Kelly (Mary Poppins) and has enchanted audiences since the show opened in April this year.
It is understood that Warlow will be stepping into the role of Charles Frohman/Captain James Hook for a limited time while Grammer is on hiatus from the show. Official dates have not been confirmed at this stage.
