Brisbane Audiences Open Their Hearts and Their Wallets

Head Full Of Love – QTC

Head Full of Love written by Alana Valentine and directed by Wesley Enoch is about beanies, healing and friendship. This heart and head warming tale has gotten under the skin of Brisbane audiences, possibly because we’re craving theatre that has a real cause driving it.

Head Full of Love has this drive in droves. Issues like reconciliation, the importance of personal stories and the plight of hundreds of Indigenous Australians who are forced to leave country to go to regional centres to receive dialysis treatment each week are all dealt with in a touching and humorous way.

The Purple House is a community run dialysis centre in Alice Springs, and just by asking audiences to donate to this organisation at the end of each show, the Brisbane season of  Head Full of Love has raised approximately $26,257.55.  Bins of pre-loved beanies/scarves/winter woolies have also been collected on behalf of St Vincent de Paul’s. You have until Saturday to experience this charming play.

Head Full of Love is playing at the Cremorne Theatre QPAC until 11 August.

Bookings: 136 246
