Awkward Conversations with Animals I’ve F**ked

By special arrangement with the Agency and playwright Rob Hayes, The Very Popular Theatre Company presents a world-wide live-streamed reading of Rob Hayes’ unmistakable play Awkward Conversations With Animals I’ve F*cked, featuring performances from James Chapman, Drew Holmes, Carl Gregory, Tyran Stig and Ben Louttit. A five-man tragi-comedy from award-winning playwright Rob Hayes (Step 9 [Of 12]; A Butcher of Distinction).

The 70-minute live stream will be broadcast live on Friday 12th of June at 8pm (Sydney, Australia Time). For other time zones and regions, please adjust your times accordingly.

All five performers will be connected from their homes thanks to Canvas Collective, a streaming production house in Sydney, who will be broadcasting the live reading via our Facebook page and via YouTube. Stoddart said, “we can’t wait to put Newcastle’s talent on the world stage”.

Rob Hayes’ play is fiercely funny! If you are ok with the title, you’ll be fine with the play.

Tickets can be purchased for the event as a ‘pay what you can’ contribution through the Very Popular Theatre Company website.

If you’re unable to contribute, audiences all over the world can still watch this event at the screening time via The Very Popular Theatre Company’s Facebook page or Youtube channel which will screen live on the day.
