All New Zealand performances of THE BOOK OF MORMON cancelled

Before they even had a chance to settle in, the Mormons are being shipped out. The Auckland Civic will be following suit and cancelling all performances of The Book Of Mormon.

A statement from The Civic said:

Auckland Live and the producers of The Book of Mormon – Australia & New Zealand sincerely regret to advise that all performances of The Book of Mormon at The Civic in Auckland have been cancelled, effective from 17 March, 2020.

Given the directive from the Government to slow the spread of COVID-19 by cancelling gatherings of 500 people or more in close proximity, it is not possible to continue the current season, and the Sunday 15 March performance was the season’s last.

For ticket holders booked to attend upcoming performances of The Book of Mormon, refunds will be processed automatically – you do not need to contact us. Please allow 3 – 5 working days for your refund to be processed.

If you have booked in person at a box office you need to return to the point of purchase with a form of identification for a refund.

While we are very sad to have to make this announcement, the health, safety and well-being of all who attend our shows will always be paramount, however we know this is incredibly disappointing news for our patrons.

Thank you for your understanding.
