Six the Musical Announces New UK Tour Queens for 2025
The unstoppable, award-winning musical Six isn’t slowing down anytime soon! With a fresh wave of Queens set to join the UK tour, the show continues to captivate audiences around the globe.
Reimagining the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives as pop stars, Six blends historical heartbreak with modern empowerment in an electrifying 80-minute experience. Starting next month, the new touring Queens will be Billie Kerr as Catherine of Aragon, Yna Tresvalles as Anne Boleyn, Liberty Stottor as Jane Seymour, Hannah Victoria as Anna of Cleves, Lizzie Emery as Katherine Howard, and Eloise Lord as Catherine Parr. Alternates include Milly Willows, Erin Summerhayes, and Lorren Santo-Quinn, with Izzy Formby-Jackson stepping in as super swing and dance captain. The powerhouse all-female band, The Ladies in Waiting, will continue to support the cast.
The current company will take their final bows on August 18, 2024, paving the way for the new cast to debut on August 20 at the Lowry in Salford.
Globally, Six is marking its third year on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre and is currently touring North America. A second Australian tour is opening in Melbourne, while the musical has also made stops in South Korea, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. The new cast will extend their reign to Singapore, the Philippines, and Japan. In the UK, the West End production remains a hot ticket at the Vaudeville Theatre.
With over 35 major international awards under its belt, including the 2022 Tony Awards for Best Original Score and Best Costume Design, Six continues to be a critical and commercial triumph. It has also secured consecutive WhatsOnStage Awards for Best West End Show in 2022 and 2023 and the 2020 BBC Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical.
Six is brought to life by the creative team of writers Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, co-directors Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, and choreographer Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The stellar design team features set designer Emma Bailey, costume designer Gabriella Slade, lighting designer Tim Deiling, and sound designer Paul Gatehouse. The musical score is orchestrated by Tom Curran, with music supervision and vocal arrangements by Joe Beighton. Musical director Yutong Zhang and associate UK musical supervisor Lauren Hopkinson round out the team, with casting by Pearson Casting. The production is produced by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, and George Stiles.
