Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is keeping the magic alive at London’s Palace Theatre with a fresh new cast ready to step into the spotlight from 15 October 2024.
Claire Lams is joining as Ginny Potter, while David Ricardo-Pearce and Ellis Rae will continue their roles as Harry and Albus Potter. Eve De Leon Allen is taking over as Rose Granger-Weasley, the daughter of Ron and Hermione, played by Thomas Aldridge and Jade Ogugua. Steve John Shepherd is back as Draco Malfoy, with Harry Acklowe playing his son Scorpius.
The new lineup also includes some fresh faces: Ishmail Aaron, David Annen, Nicole-Lily Baisden, Sabina Cameron, Rob Curtis, Zijuan Elsol, Gabriel Fleary, Rory Fraser, Tim Hibberd, Sally Jayne Hind, Max Hunter, Dewayne Jameson Adams, Emma Louise Jones, Julia Kass, Debra Lawrance, Tasha Lim, Matty Loane, Sophie Matthew, Jaden Oshenye, Helen Power, Jocelyn Prah, Conor Quinn, Ian Redford, Catherine Russell, Martin de los Santos, Adam Slynn, Benjamin Stratton, Alex Tomkins, Jake Tuesley, Sam Varley, and Katie Wimpenny.
There’s also a talented group of young actors—Oliver Dawson, Layla Duke, Aubrey Hayes, Rhiannon Parry, Aljosa Radosavljevic, Sienna Sibley, and Ethan Webster—who will be rotating in a couple of kids’ roles.
The creative dream team is back, led by director John Tiffany. Expect stunning movement by Steven Hoggett, set design by Christine Jones, eye-catching costumes by Katrina Lindsay, and music by the amazing Imogen Heap. Neil Austin is handling lighting, Gareth Fry is on sound, and Jamie Harrison will bring the magic to life with his illusions. Martin Lowe continues his role in music supervision and arrangements, with casting by Julia Horan and Lotte Hines.
