Clueless the Musical is Set to Rock the UK Stage

Clueless the Musical is about to take the UK by storm! That’s right, the cult classic film we all obsess over is getting its stage wings and flying across the pond.

Amy Heckerling, the genius behind the original ’95 flick, has spun her magic into a script that’s going to have us totally buggin’. We’re diving back into the high school world of Cher, our forever fashion icon and matchmaker extraordinaire, as she embarks on her hilariously misguided mission to give her BFF a social makeover. And yep, it’s got that same Jane Austen charm – think “Emma” with a ’90s makeover.

Remember the Off-Broadway run back in 2018, with all those rad ’80s and ’90s hits and Dove Cameron killing it as Cher? Well, get ready for a fresh twist because this time we’ve got KT Tunstall rocking the music scene and Glenn Slater, the lyrical wizard of ‘Sister Act the Musical’ and ‘Tangled’, bringing his A-game.

Sarna Lapine, who brought us the stunning ‘Sunday in the Park with George’ with the dreamy Jake Gyllenhaal, is taking the director’s chair. The spotlight first hits the Churchill Theatre in Bromley for a sneak-peek run from February 12th to 24th in 2024. Don’t sleep on this one – grab your tickets now!
